This is the digital download PDF version of our official PreK (Primary One) printed teaching binder.
Our Montessori teaching album follows the same curriculum as we used in our AMI-certified Montessori schools. We added extra details for parents working with their children at home. This binder provides the first year of Montessori with over 70 different lessons in all curricular topics for children in the first year of Primary class. Since this binder provides the foundational material for the Primary class as well as the Junior class (Grades 1-3), we suggest that parents start here. We would be glad to send you samples!
If you are not familiar with authentic Montessori curriculum, PLEASE message me for a sample before you buy this. We never use busy work such as workbooks or generic schedules.
Each section of the binder provides a detailed explanation of a single classroom exercise, starting with how to make or find the equipment and then leading you through each step of the exercise.
We show you how to use what you have at home to create a fulfilling and exciting learning environment for your children. Teachers and daycare providers will also find this material amazingly useful for creating a Montessori classroom curriculum on a budget in a traditional classroom setting or in a home-based setup.
We provide you with the step-by-step exercises and explanations that comprise this invaluable teaching tool. This material explains how to work with your child on brain development exercises, sensory development for a background in math and geometry, beginning reading, early math, and much more.
In this album, we cover topics such as:
* How to introduce your child to letter sounds and beginning reading
* Pre-writing exercises such as the Metal Insets
* Brain development exercises that incorporate body and brain coordination
* How to introduce beginning math and counting in a way that builds a good foundation for advanced math
* Practical Life exercises that develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
* Brain building sensorial exercises ranging from introduction of shapes such as cubes and spheres to primary and secondary colors
* Tips for helping your child stay active and fit during the school day
* Learn how to create a Montessori learning environment at your home
* Science experiments with items that can be found at home
Please feel welcome to message me for samples!
